MANU has worked as a storyteller and education consultant with children and youth for more than 20 years. Using puppets, games & music, he has promoted Environmental & Science Education, Human & Social Development, Health Care Promotion and Art & Cultural Animation.

During this time he developed Playful Learning Workshops, designed Ludic Materials and counseled people and institutions on cultural, environmental and education matters, working personally with more than 20,000 students every year.

MANU was born in Mexico and moved to Canada 5 years ago to study a Masters in Capacity Development with the University of Guelph that helped him to professionalize his job as a storyteller and educational consultant.

One of the main objectives of MANU is to bring people together, creating safe spaces for them to interact and develop their own personalities and capacities while having fun. The idea is to facilitate interactive workshops where there will be songs, puppets, storytelling, skills-sharing, DIY experiments, education/recreation tips, something for everyone, again…while having fun.

Guelph Little Theatre is partnering with MANU and his team of puppets. They are ready to share experiences and new adventures, through stories, songs, activities and games, hoping that people of all ages have fun while learning about arts, culture, multiculturalism, and how by working together, we can become a united community.

We are able to respect the social distancing and safety protocols during COVID by delivering all activities online where we will share this wonderful experience through videos and live presentations. Watch for Manu and friends while exploring new friendships and the theme of Exploring the World through Unity and Inclusion.
