Do you wonder how GLT chooses which plays to produce during its season?
A dedicated group of volunteers on GLT’s Play Selection Committee steward an application process during the fall and winter each year. If you wish to be on the reading committee, please contact us by August 30, 2022.
Instructions for play submissions
Directors who are interested in submitting a show for the next season’s playbill should do so on or before October 1, 2022.
A complete script (up to a maximum of three plays) should be delivered to:

If the play is a new or unfamiliar one, please also confirm that it will be available for amateur theatre productions. Directors must have worked with GLT before (i.e. directed a one-act or full-length play) or be a guest director (i.e. be well-established in another community theatre). If you would like to take advantage of our guest director program, please also include a brief resume describing your directing credits, including dates, play titles and theatre where the work was performed.
